Bryce Canyon National Park is located in southwestern Utah in the United States. This HDR shot was taken from one of the many viewpoints around the canyon, where you can see hundreds of massive hoodoos.

Hoodoos are tall skinny spires of rock that protrude from the bottom of arid basins and "broken" lands. A hoodoo is a tall, thin spire of rock that protrudes from the bottom of an arid drainage basin or badland. They are mainly located in the desert in dry, hot areas, but nowhere in the world are they as abundant as in Bryce Canyon National Park.

Hoodoos in Bryce Canyon can be up to 200 feet (61 m) high. I highly recommend hike some of the trails (Navajo loop, Queen's Garden trail, Mossy trail...) of the Bryce National Park to fully appreciate and enjoy this natural beauty.
